Faith Family Gatherings
Faith Family Worship is the heart of our Sunday morning gathering at Bloomington Church of the Nazarene. This traditional service is centered on Christ-honoring music, heartfelt prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word. We come together as a church family to grow in faith, encourage one another, and experience the presence of God in a meaningful and reverent way. Whether you are a longtime member or visiting for the first time, you will find a place to belong as we worship together.
Faith Family Kids is our children’s church designed for kids of all ages, where young hearts can learn about Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Through Bible lessons, songs, and activities, children are taught foundational truths in a way they can understand and carry with them throughout life. Our goal is to partner with families to build strong faith in the next generation while helping every child feel loved, valued, and part of the Faith Family.
Faith Family Builders is our midweek Bible study focused on growing deeper in God’s Word and strengthening our walk with Christ. In a welcoming and conversational setting, we take time to study Scripture, share insights, and encourage one another in faith. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to build lasting relationships while being spiritually refreshed and equipped for daily living.
Cedar Creek Worship is a special outreach ministry where we bring church to residents of local nursing home and assisted living communities. Through familiar hymns, Scripture, and a brief message, we share the love and hope of Christ with those who may not be able to attend a traditional service. This time of worship reflects the heart of our Faith Family—caring for one another and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to experience God’s presence.
Grand Valley Worship is an extension of our Faith Family ministry, reaching residents in assisted living with the message of Jesus Christ. Held on alternating Monday evenings, this service includes traditional worship, encouragement from Scripture, and a time of fellowship. It is a meaningful opportunity to connect, uplift, and remind each person that they are seen, valued, and loved by God and by our church family.
Our 5th Sunday Sing is a cherished time of worship and fellowship that brings our Faith Family together in song. Whenever a month includes a fifth Sunday, we gather for a singspiration filled with favorite hymns, special music, and testimonies. This service celebrates our shared faith heritage and provides an opportunity for participation and encouragement as we lift our voices in praise to the Lord.
